Eli is a director, writer, actor, composer, and devisor . He has creativly worked with The New Hazlett, Stage Warped Productions, City of Asylum, and The Pittsburgh Playhouse,
His work delves into the darker parts of the human psyche. Often dealing with themes of lonliness, anxiety, depression, and masculinity. He doesn't create to answer but rather to scream out a question.
About Eli Plummer
Eli Plummer is a current senior at Point Park University focusing on his Theater Arts BFA with a concentration in directing and a minor in applied music. Plummer is an ambitious theater maker focused on directing and acting. Currently he is working on assistant directing “Arcadia” by Tom Stoppard with The Pittsburgh Playhouse and recently directed “7 Stories” by Morris Panych with Bridges Theatre Co. Previously Plummer has performed at the New Hazlett Theater as the roles of Mr. Smith in “Perdita” by Nathan Wagner and Ensemble/David understudy for “One Log Bridge” by Yan Pang. During his time at Point Park University Plummer has had the honor of learning under the likes of Rich Keitel, Phil Winters, Milia Ayache, April Daras, Sheila McKenna among other amazingly talented professors. Plummer has also spent some time with the Pig Iron school in Philadelphia participating in their “Journey of The Mask” summer intensive taught by Emmanuelle Delpech and Trey Lyford. In this intensive, Plummer trained extensively in mask work, commedia dell'arte, and clowning. When not working on a theatrical production Plummer can be found practicing his piano skills, going on walks, or looking at cats on the internet.
